TOPLINE: Congress can defund Planned Parenthood NOW -- but Republicans are dragging their feet. Planned Parenthood is the leading abortion provider in America and increasingly a leader in “transitioning” children.

Planned Parenthood Transes Children: • Live Action just released an undercover report exposing that Planned Parenthood is prescribing cross sex hormones for minors with same-day prescriptions via virtual appointments.

o WATCH: Lila Rose's Shocking Report. • Planned Parenthood calls itself “the 2nd largest provider of hormone therapy” in America. • Nearly 450 Planned Parenthood clinics offer transgender services with 45 of 49 Planned Parenthood affiliates providing “gender-affirming hormone therapy.”.

Planned Parenthood Provides Thousands of Dangerous Chemical Abortions Every Year: • EPPC just released the largest study ever on chemical abortion. • The report found that:

o 10.93% of women taking the chemical abortion pill experience adverse events, including sepsis, hemorrhaging, infection, or a different severe complication. o That chemical abortion is 22x more dangerous than the reported 0.5% level.

Planned Parenthood Receives Billions in Taxpayer Funding Every Single Year: • Planned Parenthood received $148 million in HHS grants and $1.5 billion in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP payments with its regional organizations receiving $108 million. • Last fall, Planned Parenthood’s political arm spent $40 million trying to influence the outcome of the election. . . . . .

Defunding Planned Parenthood Actually Saves Money for Taxpayers: • Despite what the Congressional Budget Office wants you to believe, defunding Planned Parenthood actually saves taxpayer dollars. • In June of 2022, Sen. Mike Lee and the Joint Economic Committee issued a report debunking the absurd claim that abortion is good for the economy and found that the loss of lives from abortions costs the American economy trillions of dollars every year.
