TOPLINE: Despite economically illiterate claims by the Trump Administration, American companies and families are bearing the brunt of President Trump’s Tariff Tax.

o REALITY CHECK: 33,000 Americans have lost their manufacturing jobs since
January 2025 • Meanwhile, the Bureau of Labor Statistics just revised the jobs created from April 2024- March 2025 DOWN by 911,000. Washington Lobbyists are Winning While American Families are Losing.: • Goldman Sachs reports that American businesses and families have paid 86% of tariffs. • 39% of Americans report purchasing less because of tariffs. Meanwhile, tariff lobbying revenue is up 599% year over year and 834% compared to pre-Trump levels. • Tariff lobbying disclosures increased 233% year-over-year.
o Dig Deeper: AAF Tariff Lobbyist Report Court Report: Trump Administration asks Supreme Court to Rule Quickly: • The Federal Circuit Court of Appeals recently upheld the decision of the Court of International Trade that the President’s tariffs exceeded powers granted to him by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). • The Trump Administration has appealed the decision and requested that the Supreme Court expedite the case. • If the Supreme Court “rocket dockets” the case, we could have a decision as early as

President Trump’s tariff tax, all while The Swamp is feasting at the tariff lobbying trough and the Supreme Court may rule the entire process illegal and unconstitutional.
