TOPLINE: The DSA platform calls for full taxpayer funding of abortion and sex-rejecting hormone injections and surgical mutilation.
BACKGROUND: The DSA’s “Healthcare for All” agenda includes “complete access to reproductive and gender-affirming care.” Taxpayers would cover 100% of these procedures. Most Americans are morally opposed to sex-rejection surgeries, and many other countries are wisely banning these life-altering procedures from being performed on children as mounting evidence shows they are dangerous and cause serious medical problems.
Abortion Without Restriction
- The DSA has called for “free abortions on demand, without apology.” This means absolutely zero restrictions – even if a baby is about to be born.
- According to Gallup polling, a majority of Americans believe that abortion should be banned in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
- The DSA would force Americans to fund deadly procedures they view as morally wrong.
“Gender-Affirming” Care On-Demand
- The DSA’s universal healthcare plan calls for full taxpayer funding for all sex-rejection procedures, including hormone injections and surgeries that add or remove breasts or mutilate a person’s genitals,
- These surgeries create patients for life and hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit for the healthcare industry, as exposed by Matt Walsh in 2022.
- The DSA plan allows for full healthcare coverage for abusive surgeries of minors.
- This means that taxpayer dollars could go towards the surgical mutilation of minors in the name of “gender-affirming care.” These minors are often coerced and unaware of long-term risks and maintenance, as undergoing genital mutilation requires consistent doctor’s visits because your body continues to try to heal itself of purposefully induced wounds.
BOTTOMLINE: The DSA would require Americans to foot the bill for abortion up to birth and sex-rejection procedures for whoever wants them.
