The U.S.-Israel Alliance Is Essential To American Peace
TOPLINE: Since the 1948 refounding of Israel, the United States has provided our closest ally in the Middle East $244 billion in military assistance. What we have gotten in exchange for that support, from nuclear stability to terrorist containment and advanced weaponry, is the deal of a lifetime.
FACT: Israel spends two and a half times more than the United States on its military as a percentage of its GDP.
NUCLEAR-FREE IRAN: Iran would love to harm America (calling us the "Great Satan").
• The United States spends ~$95B a year to maintain our nuclear program, which
loses significant power as a deterrent as more countries achieve nuclear status. • Ever since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has secretly worked to develop a
bomb in violation of its agreement to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. • In 2010, when Iran was deemed less than a week away from producing enough
enriched uranium for a weapon of mass destruction, Israel's Stuxnet virus destroyed 1,000 nuclear centrifuges, massively disrupting production. • Starting June 13, 2025, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion. With assistance
from the United States beginning June 21, the two nations dealt a critical blow to Iran's nuclear arms production and forced Iran into a ceasefire agreement.
OPERATION GRIM BEEPER: Israel fights Iranian proxies that work to harm Americans.
• More than 100 individuals connected to Iran-backed Hezbollah have been
charged for weapons procurement, human trafficking, drug-smuggling, and money laundering in the U.S.. Hezbollah's presence is inchoate, but the terrorist group is intent on developing the capacity to launch an attack against the U.S. • In 2025, Israel decapitated Hezbollah's leadership with its coordinated pager
explosions, exhibiting a first-of-its-kind espionage and surgical strike capacity.
BLEEDING EDGE TECH: The tools we receive or adapt from Israel keeps the U.S. #1.
• Collaboration provides the U.S. a live laboratory of field-tested products,
accelerating the R&D cycle, and directly supporting 20,000+ American jobs. • Israel's Unit 8200 cyber operations are world-class (e.g., Stuxnet) and its
veterans have developed many tools that undergird U.S. defense cybersecurity. • The Trophy system, designed to protect Israeli tanks against anti-tank missiles,
is now standard on the United States' M1A2 Abrams tanks. • Israel's Iron Dome system has been deployed in the U.S. island territory of Guam
as part of a layered effort against threats coming from China and North Korea.
