Don’t Let Your Congressman Bail Out Obamacare
TOPLINE: Progressives broke the American healthcare system with Obamacare and doubled down during COVID. Conservatives shouldn’t buy what they broke. Extending the COVID-era Obamacare subsidies, which are scheduled to expire on New Year's Eve, will only prop up progressives’ failing healthcare system. Obamacare is an Abject Failure. Since the Passage of Obamacare: • Premiums for individual market plans have doubled.
o For 2026, just 4 insurers requested to lower premiums while many
requested to raise premiums by over 10%.
▪ In fact, seven insurers requested to raise premiums by over 50%! • Obamacare has added more than $1.5 trillion to the national debt since 2010. • Illegal aliens are enrolled in taxpayer-subsidized Obamacare plans. • Massive health insurance companies continue to see their profits grow while
smaller insurance companies go out of business.

o Americans who earn up to $500,000 annually can qualify. • Extending these Obamacare subsidies would cost $448 billion over ten years. Obamacare Subsidies Fund Abortion: • Obamacare required that separate funds be established to fund abortions. MD
took $25 million from these accounts to fund a pro-abortion program. • Since Obamacare became law, taxpayer dollars have flowed to more than 1,000
pro-abortion insurance plans. • Almost 100 pro-life organizations recently encouraged Congress to expand the
Hyde Amendment protections to currently uncovered Obamacare plans.
