Advancing American Freedom Calls for Congressional AcƟon to Support Israel
Israel, America’s most cherished ally, has just endured barbaric atacks from the brutal terrorist group Hamas. Now more than ever, the United States must demonstrate that we stand with Israel and our allies around the world. As the crisis unfolds, Advancing American Freedom calls on Congress to take immediate acƟon to curb the threats to Israel and restore stability in the region. IniƟal measures include the following: Iranian Assets Must be Targeted All Iranian assets stored in European and U.S. banks must be frozen. The United States should work with our allies and relevant internaƟonal financial insƟtuƟons to ensure the Iranian regime no longer has access to the funds that fuel these atrociƟes. Biden’s indefensible $6 billion ransom payment must be recouped. Further, Biden has already given Iran a $30 billion economic boost by liŌing the sancƟons imposed by the Trump-Pence administraƟon. Those sancƟons must be reinstated immediately. End All Taxpayer Funding to the PalesƟnians The Trump-Pence administraƟon was the first to end the hundreds of millions of dollars of UNWRA funding for the PalesƟnians, recognizing that they had allowed terrorist organizaƟons to channel all funds they received into atacks on Israel. The United States must again adopt this policy and likewise cut off any other taxpayer dollars that could be used to fund future atacks or be funneled into state- sponsored terrorism. Impeach Robert Malley In light of the recent atacks, the American people must have answers on the Biden administraƟon's special envoy to Iran who is currently under invesƟgaƟon for mishandling of classified documents and creaƟng a permissive environment for Iran-backed Hamas. The House Commitee on Oversight must conƟnue to invesƟgate the Biden administraƟon’s failed Iran strategy and their employment of officials with Ɵes to the Iranian regime.
These measures should be the starƟng point of the United States’ support for Israel in the midst of conƟnued atacks from terrorist organizaƟons and foreign adversaries. Advancing American Freedom will conƟnue to work with members of Congress to advance these key prioriƟes and restore America’s role as leader of the free world.
