TOPLINE: Following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Donald J. Trump for President today, RFK is believed to be in line for a cabinet position or other senior office in a future Trump Administration. Given RFK’s unsteady record, it’s hard to imagine him filling any post that would not prove an unmitigated disaster for the country. What about Secretary of Health and Human Services? • After initially coming out as marginally pro-life, RFK reversed his support for life and has

fully embraced a radical abortion position, stating that he opposes any restrictions on abortion - “even if it’s full term.” • RFK has falsely claimed that the polio vaccine killed “many more people than polio ever did.” • RFK supports the decriminalization of marijuana and previously called for legalizing even

psychedelics. • RFK’s campaign calls for the government to create “hundreds of healing centers, where people

can reconnect with nature, learn the discipline of hard work, and rebuild their lives.” What about Administrator of the EPA? • RFK helped found the New York League of Conservation Voters and has called himself “the

leading environmentalist in the country.” • RFK was considered for the White House Council on Environmental Quality under a

potential Al Gore administration and for EPA administrator under presidential candidate John Kerry and President Barack Obama. • RFK has opposed fracking, supports transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy, and

waged lawfare against American oil and gas companies. • RFK was arrested while protesting the Keystone XL pipeline. What about Director of the Central Intelligence Agency? • RFK proposed to cut U.S. military spending by 50%. • He gave a pass to Venezuelan dictator Maduro’s most recent stolen election. • RFK has called for cutting off all aid to Ukraine, in spite of its successful counteroffensive. • RFK praised China for using threats of organ harvesting to meet green energy goals. BOTTOM LINE: RFK Jr.’s embrace of loony ideas and policies that are antithetical to conservatism will do more damage to the Conservative Movement than the support he may bring in. The Conservative Movement must be laser focused on the issues this November, not platforming conspiracy theorists in an attempt to scrape out an election.
