AAF: Biden Bends to Iran; Americans died.

TOPLINE: Since day one, President Biden has appeased Iran by refusing to assert power in the region, reversing the Trump-Pence administration’s “maximum pressure” strategy. Now Iran and its proxies have killed American troops, invaded Israel, and held the Red Sea hostage. Trump-Pence Maximum Pressure Campaign: • Renegotiated the Iran nuclear deal from a position of strength to include ballistic missiles. • Imposed anti-nuclear sanctions. • Decimated Iran’s Central Bank reserves and oil exports. • Responded with overwhelming force to Iranian aggression, including taking out Islamic

Revolutionary Guard Corps General Qasem Soleimani Biden Begs Tehran: President Biden has empowered Iran at every opportunity. • Foolishly begged Iran to get back into the nuclear deal. • Rolled back the Trump-Pence “maximum pressure” strategy. • Removed the Houthis terrorist designation statuses. • Unfroze $6 billion for Iran and allowed for Iran to export more oil to China. • Declined to respond to Iranian incitement in the Middle East, instead calling for

‘proportional’ responses despite Iran’s escalation. • Provided Iran advance warning and details on forthcoming retaliatory strikes. Now: Three American service members are dead and dozens more are wounded as a direct result of President Biden’s coddling of Iran. President Biden must immediately: • Reinstate the Trump-Pence “maximum pressure” strategy. • Revoke the Biden Administration’s $10 billion sanctions waiver. • Call on international banks to seize funds of Iranian proxies. The United States must confront Iran with devastating retaliation: President Reagan’s response: In 1988, After a U.S. ship almost sunk due to an Iranian mine, President Reagan responded with overwhelming force sinking half of Iran’s navy. • Any retaliatory strike must eliminate high-value Iranian targets, such as their nuclear

program, the Iranian navy, and oil infrastructure, not empty warehouses.

o It is unacceptable for the U.S. to provide advance notice of these military operations. Congress must: • Pass the Maximum Pressure Act (H.R. 6114) to codify the Trump administration’s successful

maximum pressure campaign on Iran into law. • Investigate how Iranian spies compromised the Biden Administration.
