Rachel Greszler

Senior Research Fellow, Plymouth Institute for Free Enterprise

Rachel Greszler is a Senior Research Fellow in the Plymouth Institute for Free Enterprise at Advancing American Freedom (AAF). She is recognized as an economic expert in workforce, family policy, Social Security, pensions, and fiscal policy. Greszler’s research focuses on policies that promote economic growth, personal freedom and well-being, and fiscal sanity.

Greszler has testified dozens of times before Congress and her articles have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Fox, CNN, National Review, the Hill, and other outlets. Among the many topics she addresses are: education and employment opportunities; Social Security improvements; the minimum wage; family-friendly workplace policies; federal employment competitiveness; improper payments and fraud; and the federal budget.   

Prior to joining Advancing American Freedom, Greszler spent 12 years as a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation and previously served for seven years as a senior economist on the staff of the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. Greszler also currently serves as a Visiting Fellow in Workforce at the Economic Policy Innovation Center (EPIC).

Greszler holds master’s degrees in economics and public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Mary Washington, where she currently serves on the Board of Visitors.
