Philip Eigen is a Policy Analyst specializing in modeling and simulations in the Institute for Statistical Policy Analysis at Advancing American Freedom. His work combines traditional methods, advanced modeling and simulation techniques, and modern computing and analytical tools with the knowledge and experience of Advancing American Freedom’s scholars to support rigorous empirical analysis of key policy issues.
He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics at Georgetown University and holds a bachelor’s degree from American University, with a double major in Mathematics and Data Science and a minor in Computer Science. Throughout his academic career he has focused on mathematical statistics, statistical programming, and public policy. Prior to joining Advancing American Freedom, he applied this background to political campaign management, political data services, nonprofit government relations, and state-level departmental work
