Greg Jacob

Greg Jacob served as legal counsel to the Vice President during the Trump-Pence administration. He is currently a partner in the Washington office of the law firm, O’Melveny & Myers, specializing in ERISA matters.

He clerked for Judge Jacques Weiner of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and worked in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel. Jacob was Special Assistant for Domestic Policy during the George W. Bush administration and Deputy Solicitor and Solicitor at the U.S. Department of Labor.

Jacob graduated cum laude from Amherst College in 1996 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1999.
