Five-Figure Ad Campaign Urges Senate to Get Bill Across Finish Line
WASHINGTON – Advancing American Freedom (AAF) has launched a new five-figure ad campaign defending House conservatives in the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania who voted to renew the Trump tax cuts after leftist attack ads criticized the Republican lawmakers over the vote.
The digital ads, part of AAF’s $10 million nationwide grassroots effort calling on Congress to renew the Trump tax cuts, will run in the districts of Tom Barrett (MI-07), John James (MI-10), Derrick Van Orden (WI-03), Scott Perry (PA-10), and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01).The ads feature testimonial from a small family business owner describing how a $1,700 average tax hike per household would impact her livelihood if Congress doesn’t get tax cuts across the finish line:
“I own a small family-owned business here in Pennsylvania.
“The Republican tax cuts in 2017 led to a needed economic boom. Those tax cuts saved us.
“But if Congress doesn’t get their act together and renew these tax cuts, average families will see a nearly $2,000 tax hike.
“Don’t raise my taxes. Don’t raise anybody’s taxes. Tell Congress to make the Trump tax cuts permanent now –before it’s too late.”

WASHINGTON – Advancing American Freedom has urged lawmakers to pass the $9.4 billion rescissions package the White House will send to Congress this week as an important step towards cutting wasteful government spending.
AAF President Tim Chapman said:
“I thank my friend OMB Director Russ Vought for his tireless work to deliver the inaugural rescissions package to Congress.
“Most Members of Congress have never cut federal spending since coming to Washington. This package, although small, gives them that opportunity and is a first step in the long journey towards restoring fiscal sanity.
“With the national debt surging toward $37 trillion, there is no excuse to delay. OMB has done the work. Now Congressional Republicans, who promised the American people that they would cut spending, must deliver. It’s time to get it done. Passing this small package of cuts is critical to beginning the process to fix our national deficit.
