David Burton

David R. Burton is Senior Research Fellow at Advancing American Freedom. He focuses on securities regulation, tax matters, entrepreneurship, business law, financial privacy, regulatory and administrative law issues and the efficacy and ethics of markets.

Previously, he was Senior Fellow in Economic Policy at the Heritage Foundation for 12 years. He worked at the National Chamber Litigation Center and as General Counsel at the National Small Business United. He also served as counsel to the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee.
