Visiting Judicial Fellow
Justice Daniel Kelly was appointed to the Wisconsin Supreme Court by Governor Scott Walker in 2016. During his now-completed term, he wrote landmark opinions addressing the structure of both the United States and Wisconsin Constitutions, the administrative state, limited government, constitutionally protected rights, and a host of other issues.
Prior to joining the Court, he spent most of his career as a litigator at one of the largest and oldest law firms in the State of Wisconsin where he represented clients in state and federal courts across the country.
