Gender ideologues on the left have long attempted to dismiss challenges to their agenda with the slogan “trust the science.” It’s time they heed their own call, for the science is clear: Pushing hormonal interventions on children, including off-label estrogen for boys, does not benefit their health.
Following the publication of the Cass Report in 2024, European countries, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark, have already restricted hormone treatments for children.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration must follow suit taking children’s health seriously and restore the conditions for patients to grant informed consent. Advancing American Freedom urges the FDA to open a public docket collecting the medical evidence on hormonal interventions and thereby subjecting “gender medicine” to public scrutiny.
