The White House responded to Georgia’s attempts to make its elections more secure with a race-baiting statement from President Biden calling the Georgia law “Jim Crow in the 21st Century.” In doing so, the White House equated racial segregation laws to a law that expands early voting, requires election officials to wait to send absentee ballots until they are requested, and protects election security with voter ID requirements.
