On Wednesday, February 7th, the Biden administration finalized a ruling increasing restrictions on
particulate matter produced by manufacturing and energy sectors. The new guidelines decrease the
annual PM2.5 standard from a level of 12 micrograms per cubic meter to a level of 9 micrograms per
