February 24

President Biden signed an executive order in order to revoke multiple presidential actions from the Trump-Pence administration. The Biden order unwound the Trump-Pence administration’s attempt to rein in and bring accountability to the Dodd-Frank financial regulation law. It also revoked the Trump memos prohibiting collective bargaining by Defense Department staff and calling for the withholding of certain federal funds from cities that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction. The Biden order restored regulatory barriers for private-sector workers returning to work during COVID and restored the ability of career staff at federal agencies to make new regulations without the approval of political appointees.
