Advancing American Freedom issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“The conversation on RFK’s pro-abortion views needed to happen, and though we disagree with the conclusion the Senate reached we are proud to have fought for the pro-life cause,” said AAF President Tim Chapman. “Conservatives can’t shy away from the hard conversations, even when they’re uncomfortable. We can’t get so caught up in “winning” that we’ve compromised values. Advancing American Freedom is going to applaud what is good for the country, and critique what is bad. Defending life will always be a top priority for our organization. Secretary Kennedy, let’s get to work defunding Planned Parenthood.”
