Advancing American Freedom issued the following statement after the Republican House Majority released the Lower Energy Costs Act, H.R.1.
“Last year, AAF released the Freedom Agenda, which calls on political leadership to restore American opportunity by reestablishing policies to promote American energy dominance. With H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, the new Republican majority has delivered,” said AAF Executive Director Paul Teller. “We look forward to advancing this important victory for the American people through Congress and on to the White House.”
Background:
In 2022, AAF spent $10 million in support of pro-American energy policies through a nationwide advocacy campaign. This year, AAF has released a legislative agenda, featuring the policy reforms Congress must adopt to address the energy crisis, many of which have been incorporated into H.R. 1.
