Advancing American Freedom filed a rule comment on a Biden administration HHS data collection program concerning independent living centers that included a provision about gender identity in compliance with several Biden Administration executive orders. However, those orders have been revoked by the Trump Administration. Whether a person is male or female is relevant to many healthcare and housing policy decisions. Government decisions should be based in reality, and gender ideology distracts from the care of elderly Americans residing in independent living centers across the nation. Accordingly, the aforementioned provision should be removed from any final version of this rule.
